Our History

Since 1997, we have been actively training volunteers from faith communities with practical tools for social transformation. We confront the various forms of violence with strategies aimed at building a culture of peace, because we believe that changing the way we think transforms the way we live.

Identity

We are an organization that is part of the global evangelical Christian church and we serve faith communities by sharing vision and tools for the integral transformation of human beings and their communities.

Argentine

Faced with the extreme violence in the country’s soccer stadiums, in 1997, a group of young Christians decided to intervene with a preventive action: they distributed a flyer near the stadiums with the text: “No More Violence, sometimes saying NO is Positive.” Thus, No More Violence, A Message from God was born. That first action was the seed that would become, over the years, an organization with thousands of volunteers working for peace around the world.

The Positive Presence program, with the distribution of flyers and the presentation of a banner with the slogan on the playing field, expanded to sports stadiums throughout the country. In 1999, after seeing the need to impact other areas, peace promoters began to enter primary and secondary schools with the preventive-educational tool No More Violence Goes to School. This project was declared of educational interest by the Ministry of Education. Later, other tools of the organization began to emerge and develop: Peace-Building Families, Games for Peace, Neighborhood Sports Action, and Meaningful Houses, among others.

The “City of Peace” Project, which involves the aforementioned programs, was declared of interest by the local governments of many cities across the country. Every week, hundreds of peace promoters from faith communities throughout Argentina bring peace and hope to children, youth, and families in schools, clubs, plazas, parks, soup kitchens, prisons, community institutions, and neighborhood spaces.

The ongoing application of social volunteering tools for more than 25 years allows No More Violence to have a positive influence on different levels of society today and to be recognized as an organization that generates feasible plans for building a culture of peace. That is why the commitment remains intact: we continue establishing principles from heaven to build cities of Peace in this country, and today, together with the communities of faith, we continue moving forward because No more violence is a message from God for Argentina.

Peru

The work of No More Violence Peru began in November 2018 with advocacy meetings and training sessions in the cities of Lima, Piura, and Sechura. A year later, training for peace promoters was expanded using the tools No More Violence Goes to School and No More Violence Games for Peace. The talks were extended to schools and police stations, and preventive work was carried out on several occasions in the soccer stadiums of the Universitario and Alianza Lima clubs.

Between 2022 and 2024, institutional relations work continued with faith congregations in the cities of Ventanilla, El Callao, Lima, and Oxapampa. In addition, meetings were held with national legislators, city council members, and educational, police, and judicial authorities to present the preventive work of No More Violence in different areas of the community. We participated in the massive March for Life and other No More Violence actions, a positive presence in various marches in neighborhoods in the cities of Lima and Ventanilla. We also continued training peace promoters in various tools, and held No More Violence and Games for Peace sessions in El Olímpico Park, with the participation of hundreds of families from the community. In 2025, training in the No More Violence Goes to School program was provided to peace promoters in the cities of San Miguel, San Juan de Lurigancho, El Callao, and Oxapampa. The challenge is to begin weekly activities in schools in these areas, in addition to promoting Principles and Values through Games for Peace sessions every Saturday at a sports field in the city of El Callao, with the Torre Fuerte Peace Promoters.

Ecuador

From the beginning, the work of No More Violence in Ecuador was directed toward groups of people deprived of their liberty, specifically in the women’s prison. Talks and materials were tailored specifically for them to introduce them to the life-changing principles of Heaven. Currently, violence prevention talks are being given to people on pre-release leave who have been ordered by a judge to attend: “workshops and talks focused on impulse control and conflict resolution, social awareness, life plan work, gender violence prevention, human rights, proper interpersonal relationships, and others deemed necessary by the specialist.”

Reality is difficult, but God’s message remains a light in the midst of that darkness. That’s why we continue to establish principles from Heaven to build cities of peace in this country. Today, together with faith communities, we continue to move forward because No More Violence is God’s message for Ecuador.

Colombia

The No More Violence program in Colombia began in March 2022 in the city of Cúcuta with the organization’s presentation and training on the “No More Violence Goes to School” tool. Two months later, the program launched at the Belén Humanitarian House, serving Venezuelan migrants. A year later, the program reached the La Polvorera neighborhood and a soup kitchen where children and adults are served, providing support and assistance.

For years, we have continued to establish principles from heaven to build cities of peace in this country, and today, together with faith communities, we continue to advance because No More Violence is a message from God for Colombia.

VENEZUELA

No More Violence in Venezuela began its activities in January 2008 in the city of Valencia with a small group of peace promoters. Over the years, the mission expanded to the states of Anzoátegui (Barcelona, Puerto Píritu, Clarines, Anaco, El Tigre, and El Tigrito); Carabobo (Valencia); and Aragua (San Mateo); among others. Various tools have been developed that our organization provides to faith communities to positively influence their communities.

In recent years, attentive to the social reality, we have promoted entrepreneurship workshops for women and the Mercy Dining Hall, where a daily purposeful feeding program is developed. Along with food, health and prevention talks are shared, as well as practical principles to support people experiencing need. In addition, we are also carrying out the Mercy Project: A Christmas Gift.

Since 2008, we have continued to establish principles from heaven to build cities of Peace in this country, and today, together with the faith communities, we continue to work because No more violence is a message from God for Venezuela.

El Salvador

In February 2011, No More Violence arrived in El Salvador, and the work has been ongoing since then. The No More Violence Goes to School program is being used in schools and universities. Currently, three schools and one private school are being served, with more than 200 students receiving workshops and training to become agents of change.

In addition, No More Violence Games for Peace is being held in two large parks in the city, reaching hundreds of families who attend them. Medical Campaigns are also being held in two schools in San Salvador. More than 600 people were treated, receiving medical consultations in various specialties, and receiving medications and reading glasses. In addition, work began in the San Salvador center in 2022. More than 60 women meet there weekly and receive support and comprehensive assistance, seeking to meet not only their economic needs with food, but also their emotional and spiritual needs.

We’ve been working for many years, and much remains to be done. That’s why we continue to establish principles from heaven to build cities of peace in this country. Today, together with faith communities, we continue to move forward because “No More Violence” is a message from God for El Salvador.

Costa Rica

The No More Violence program in Costa Rica began in June 2021 with training for the first group of 32 volunteers from different faith communities. Since then, No More Violence Costa Rica’s greatest efforts have been directed toward presenting and promoting the tools in various public settings, NGOs, the media, faith communities, and other social groups.

Peace promoters from No More Violence Costa Rica have worked in at least four primary and secondary schools with the No More Violence Goes to School tool, providing preventive educational workshops and support to more than 1,400 students. They have also held No More Violence Games for Peace in different squares and parks across the country, where more than 50 volunteers from five faith communities are committed to promoting principles that build peace. The Police Delegation has been involved in these workshops, allowing its members to be supported, encouraged, and trained in their work and fight against violence. In some provinces, group workshops have been offered to families using the No More Violence, Families Building Peace tool, and the No More Violence message has also been carried to other community settings, such as camps, sporting events for children and adolescents, special local festivals and celebrations, and national parades.

Undoubtedly, over the years, the uninterrupted work and commitment to the mission in Costa Rica have borne fruit, but there are still great challenges ahead. That is why we continue to establish principles from heaven to build cities of peace in this country, and today, together with the faith communities, we continue to move forward because No More Violence is a message from God for Costa Rica.

México

No More Violence’s activities in Mexico began in March 2017 in Monterrey, where the vision was presented to a group of 15 leaders. A month later, training was held on the tools No More Violence, Positive Presence, and No More Violence Goes to School, culminating in the concrete implementation of a group of leading Peace Promoters who presented the flag and distributed flyers at the Tigres vs. Rayados derby match.

Over the years, No More Violence Mexico has consolidated its presence and implemented the tools No More Violence Goes to School, No More Violence Positive Presence, and No More Violence Games for Peace, in addition to multiple high-impact social activities such as murals for peace, preventive conferences with Monterrey Police cadets, and collaboration in crime prevention programs in Zuazua, Nuevo León. The work has steadily expanded to more than 11 cities and specific interventions in another dozen locations.

2026 brings the challenge of actively and strategically intervening during the World Cup as a platform to spread and establish the Peace of Heaven. Since 2017, we have continued to establish principles from Heaven to build cities of Peace in this country, and today, together with faith communities, we continue working because No More Violence is a message from God for Mexico.

USA

Since the arrival of No More Violence in the United States, we have been working with the No More Violence Goes to Schools tool. In recent years, the program has been implemented in schools in Dallas and Mesquite, Texas. Also, for the second consecutive year, values are being shared in the Christian Woman Job Corp. branch in Mesquite. Furthermore, No More Violence United States has expanded to several cities along the Mexican border, understanding the urgency of working for peace in places of great need: Lafayette, Louisiana, and soon Corsicana, Texas.

We continue to establish principles from heaven to build cities of peace in this country, and today, together with faith communities, we continue to move forward because No More Violence is a message from God for the United States.

Rwanda

Rwanda was the gateway for No More Violence, a message from God to the eastern region of the African continent. In early December 2023, we presented the organization at the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the All Africa Baptist Fellowship in Kigali. Six months later, we held a training in Rutsiro, where 42 faith community leaders, representing Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burundi, and Tanzania, received instruction in the organization’s Vision and Mission and in the tools we developed.

We are currently working on the “Building a Culture of Peace” project in the cities of Rubavu, Musanze, Karongi, and Kigali, training young people and adults to carry out peace and violence prevention actions in a country marked by inter-people rivalry and the Tutsi genocide.

The work is just beginning, but the challenge is enormous. That is why we continue to establish principles from heaven to build cities of Peace in this country, and today, together with the communities of faith, we continue to move forward because No more violence is a message from God for Rwanda.

Burundi

The launch of No More Violence in Burundi took place in March 2025. Approximately 25 community leaders (pastors, school principals, health center directors, and community leaders) participated in the organization’s presentation meeting. Training in the various tools our ministry develops will take place during the second half of 2025.

The work has just begun, which is why we continue to establish principles from heaven to build cities of peace in this country. Today, together with the faith communities, we continue to move forward because No More Violence is a message from God for Burundi.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo

The Democratic Republic of the Congo is part of the global plan designed under the “Building a Culture of Peace” project for the consolidation and development of No More Violence in East Africa. That’s why in November we will present the organization to pastors and leaders to form the working team and plan future activities for the formal launch of No More Violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The project also plans to direct our consolidation efforts to four cities over the next two years.

After its independence, the country suffered a civil war that left millions dead, so the challenge ahead is truly great. That’s why we continue to establish principles from heaven to build cities of peace in this country, and today, together with the faith communities, we continue to move forward because No More Violence is a message from God for the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Uganda

Uganda is part of the global plan designed under the “Building a Culture of Peace” project for the consolidation and development of No More Violence in East Africa. That is why, in August 2025, the organization was presented to pastors and leaders to form the working team and plan future activities for the formal launch of No More Violence in Uganda. The project also plans to direct our consolidation efforts to four cities over the next two years.

Since its independence, the country has been marked by violent conflicts, so the challenge ahead is truly great. That is why we continue to establish principles from heaven to build cities of peace in this country, and today, together with the faith communities, we continue to move forward because No More Violence is a message from God for Uganda.

Tanzanía

The launch of No More Violence in Tanzania took place in June 2025. Approximately 25 faith community leaders, along with leaders from the ministries of education and health, participated in the presentation meeting. The next steps were planned: training in the various tools our ministry develops and progress in the field.

The work has just begun, which is why we continue to establish principles from heaven to build cities of peace in this country. Today, together with the faith communities, we continue to move forward because No More Violence is a message from God for Tanzania.

Kenia

Kenya is part of the global plan designed under the “Building a Culture of Peace” project for the consolidation and development of No More Violence in East Africa. For this reason, in September 2025, the organization will be presented to pastors and leaders to form the work team and plan future activities for the formal launch of No More Violence in Kenya. The project plans to direct our consolidation efforts to four cities in the country over the next two years, starting with Mombasa.

The country has the uniqueness of uniting more than forty different ethnic groups within its territory, making it an ideal space to work for peace. Therefore, we continue to establish principles from heaven to build cities of peace in this country, and today, together with the faith communities, we continue to move forward because No More Violence is a message from God for Kenya.

Zambia

The No More Violence program in Zambia began with the training of Peace Promoters in 2025. The No More Violence program is now underway as part of the anti-bullying campaigns taking place in all schools across the country. This experience is the beginning of our work in Zambia. The work is just beginning, but the challenge is enormous. That’s why we continue to establish principles from heaven to build cities of Peace in this country, and today, together with faith communities, we continue to move forward because No More Violence is a message from God for Zambia.
